The investment objective of the Excel Chindia Fund is to seek long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in Excel India Fund, Excel China Fund, and derivative securities. The Excel Chindia Fund is 100% RRSP eligible, while allowing investors to take advantage of the growth potentials of India and China.

Portfolio Advisors

Excel Funds has retained Excel Investment Counsel Inc.to act as portfolio manager. Excel Investment Counsel Inc. is responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management activities of this fund.

Paul Mesburis is the Senior Portfolio Manager and Chief Compliance Officer of Excel Investment Counsel Inc., and has more than 15 years of investment experience. On the buy-side, his previous roles have included Portfolio Manager of an equity mutual fund focusing on Canadian and US equities. On the sell-side, his investment experience includes investment banking, M&A and institutional equity research. Mr. Mesburis is a Chartered Accountant (Ontario) and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He earned his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
