Toronto City Cricket Club Cricket Festival

WLU football is an organization comprised of 100 talented and hard working students. The organization has a long tradition of providing dedicated young athletes with the training and resources they need to achieve their goals. Excel Funds proudly supports the efforts of the Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawks in their drive for the Vanier Cup.

The UWIC offers Indo-Canadians of the Waterloo region the opportunity to meet and continue the rich traditions of their heritage. Known as the Festival of Colours, Holi is a grand celebration when generations come together to forget their cares and usher in the beginning of Spring. Excel Funds enthusiastically supports the UWIC as an organization that enriches the lives of many Indo-Canadians.

This fund was launched by Nathan and Elaine Disenhouse, in honour of their two children who were both born with a rare neurological disease. Over the past year, this fund has helped raise $150,000 in support of Neurological Research at The Hospital for Sick Children. The Sick Kids Foundation and the Bobby & Tara Disenhouse Fund enable research and care that is vital to the lives of so many children. Excel Funds is proud to support the vision of the Sick Kids Foundation -"Healthy Children. A Better World."

Awarded to an individual who continuously strives for overall success and excellence is enrolled in the B404- Business Marketing Analysis or B406- Marketing Management - Financial Services Program. This individual demonstrates leadership, academic excellence, enthusiasm and a strong interpersonal skill set.

The Outer Harbour Dragon Boat Club is a uniquely all women team that will be representing Central Canada in Malaysia in August 2008. Excel Funds proudly encourages the efforts of these hard working athletes in their quest to put Canada on the international dragon boating map.

In September 2007, Excel Funds sponsored the 6^th Annual ICCC Cricket Festival at Sunnybrook Park Cricket Grounds. Six teams competed in the event, which is becoming a yearly favourite among the Toronto cricket community. Proceeds from the event were donated to a designated charity.

The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure unites more than 170,000 Canadians in 55 communities across the country. The event raises millions of dollars to fund innovative and relevant breast cancer research, education, and awareness programs. Excel Funds is proud to support this tremendous cause.

On Sunday August 19th 2007 at Yonge & Dundas Square in Toronto, Panorama India, with the support of the Consulate General of India, celebrated the 60th Anniversary of India's Independence Day. The festivities began with a 2 KM parade through the streets of downtown Toronto, and culminated in a day long festival of music, dance, food and fun. Various Indo-Canadian cultural associations and groups, representing various states, regions, and parts of India, participated in the magnificent celebration.

The Markham Soccer U17 Girls are part of the Ontario Youth Soccer League. Founded in 1993, The Ontario Youth Soccer League is the highest-level youth competitive league in Ontario. The League was incorporated in 1997 as a non-profit organization. Excel Funds proudly supports the significant community contributions of this local organization.

This association aims to develop community spirit, encourage sportsmanship and good fellowship as well as promote the betterment of physical, mental and social well being.

The league provides coaching, equipment, skill evaluation and development, as well as other necessary resources to enable each child to have the opportunity to play to the highest level of their ability. Excel Funds commends the contribution that the Mississauga North Baseball Association has made within the local community.

Since 1970, SCAW has raised over $20 million to provide bedkits for over 800,000 children in 32 underdeveloped and developing countries.

The bedkits are made in the countries in which they are distributed. This program provides employment for local families, in addition to assisting the local economy and country as a whole.
